Where do you deliver?
expand_more
Papi Ranch delivers fresh, never frozen steaks throughout the continental United States. At this time, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or the Northern Mariana Islands.
Do you ship internationally?
expand_more
Unfortunately, we do not currently ship outside the continental United States. International orders can face unpredictable customs delays, making it impossible to guarantee that our steaks arrive fresh and never frozen.
What is the minimum order amount?
expand_more
Online orders require a minimum purchase of $200.
There are no minimum weight or quantity requirements. Build your order with any combination of eligible Papi Ranch cuts until you reach the $200 minimum.
How much does shipping cost?
expand_more
Shipping is a flat $39.99 per order.
How can I track my order?
expand_more
Once you place an order, you'll receive two emails: an order confirmation when you place your order, and a shipping confirmation with your tracking link once your order is on its way.
Because shipping labels are printed early, tracking information may not update in the carrier's system until later in the day. If you haven't seen updates by the following morning, please reach out to support@papiranch.com with your order number.
Can I change or cancel my order after it's placed?
expand_more
Yes. Orders can be changed or canceled up to 24 hours before your scheduled delivery. After that, your order is already being cut, packed, and prepared for shipment.
To make a change, email support@papiranch.com with your order number.
Storage & Handling
How can I tell if my steaks arrived in good condition?
expand_more
Your steaks should arrive cool to the touch. Because Papi Ranch ships fresh, never frozen beef, your order will never arrive partially thawed. It's perfectly normal if the gel packs have thawed during transit—as long as they're still cold and the steaks remain cool to the touch, your order has arrived in excellent condition.
How fresh is the meat I receive?
expand_more
Exceptionally fresh. Every order is cut to order on the same morning it ships. Your steaks, roasts, and burgers are freshly prepared just hours before leaving our facility, which is why we're able to accept online orders until 12:00 a.m. ET for next-day processing.
My order is delayed. Will my steaks still be good?
expand_more
Yes. Every Papi Ranch order is packed to keep your steaks cold and fresh for at least 48 hours in transit. While carrier delays are rare, they can happen. If your order arrives one day late but is still cold to the touch, it's safe to enjoy and is not eligible for a refund. If your order arrives warm or you have any concerns, please reach out to support@papiranch.com with your order number.
My steak has an unfamiliar smell. Is that normal?
expand_more
Yes. Because our beef is shipped fresh and vacuum sealed, it's normal for a slight odor to be present when you first open the package. This is caused by the lack of oxygen inside the sealed packaging and is completely harmless. Simply let the meat rest outside the packaging for about 30 minutes, and the odor will naturally dissipate.
How long will my steaks stay fresh?
expand_more
Refrigerate your steaks as soon as they arrive. For the best experience, plan to enjoy them within 7 days of delivery. Not cooking right away? Freeze them for later — Papi Ranch steaks freeze beautifully.
What do I do with the packaging when I'm done?
expand_more
Most of our packaging can be recycled or reused:
- Paper liner — 100% paper. Flatten and recycle curbside. No separation required.
- Styrofoam cooler — Some orders ship with a Styrofoam cooler instead of a paper liner. Check for a local drop-off recycling center that accepts block foam. If none is available, remove any tape or labels and dispose of the cooler with your household trash. Don’t place it in curbside recycling.
- Gel packs — Freeze and reuse, or throw away with household trash.
- Corrugated box — Break down and recycle curbside.
Product & Cut Info
Why do my steaks look different from the photographs?
expand_more
Nature doesn't produce identical steaks, and neither do we. Every Papi Ranch steak is hand-cut and sold by weight, so the shape and thickness of each cut will naturally vary. A wider primal yields slightly thinner steaks, while a narrower primal produces slightly thicker ones. No matter the shape, every steak is cut by our expert butchers to deliver the exact weight and exceptional quality you expect.
What does "Prime" actually mean?
expand_more
Prime is the highest grade of beef, awarded for its abundant marbling (intramuscular fat). Representing less than 3% of all beef produced, Prime is prized for its exceptional tenderness, juiciness, and rich flavor. Simply put: fat is flavor.
What's the difference between Prime, Wagyu, and Dry-Aged?
expand_more
Three ways to elevate a great steak. Each with its own signature.
Prime
The highest USDA grade of beef, selected for exceptional marbling, tenderness, and rich beef flavor.
Wagyu
A legendary cattle breed renowned for extraordinary marbling. Choose from rich, buttery
American Wagyu or authentic Japanese Wagyu from the famed Sendai region.
Dry-Aged
Not a grade, but a craft. Prime beef aged for 30 days to concentrate flavor, deepen complexity, and create a true steakhouse experience.
Where does your beef come from?
expand_more
Papi has spent years sourcing the world's best beef for his restaurants. Now he brings that same standard to your home.
Our Prime and American Wagyu are sourced from trusted U.S. producers known for exceptional marbling, consistency, and flavor. Our Japanese Wagyu comes from the legendary Sendai region of Japan, renowned for producing some of the world's finest beef.
Every cut is selected to meet the same restaurant-caliber standard Papi built his name on.
Why fresh, never frozen?
expand_more
Because great steak was never meant to be frozen.
Freezing can damage the muscle fibers that give a steak its natural tenderness, texture, and juiciness. By shipping fresh, never frozen, we preserve the integrity of every cut—so it arrives exactly as our butchers intended.
It's a harder way to ship steak. We think it's the only way.

We'll gladly review the situation and, where appropriate, provide a replacement or store credit.
I'm not happy with all or part of my order. What should I do?
expand_more
Please email support@papiranch.com with your order number as soon as possible. We stand behind every order and will always do our best to make things right.
My order arrived late. Can you file a claim with UPS and send me a replacement?
expand_more
Unfortunately, not always. UPS does not honor claims for delays caused by weather or weather-related backlogs, so claims are rarely approved. However, if your order arrives in poor condition, we'll absolutely make it right. Please email support@papiranch.com with your order number and we'll work with you on a replacement.
